November 20 -- Varsity fell to Eastlake 0 - 1 in the CIF SDS Quarter finals on Tuesday.  There was no score until about 4 minutes from the end of the second half. 

November 16 -- Congratulations JV!  JV update from Adele: Last week the JV were handed their only loss of the season when La Costa Canyon beat them 1-0.  However, they turned around their play and finished their season with a 1-0 win against Vista with Lauren Campbell scoring their only goal.  Great season by all the players and congratulations to the team on winning their division!!

November 15 -- Congratulations Varsity!  The varsity Falcons shutout the Sam Marcos Knights 1 - 0 in a competitive match this afternoon.  Most of the play was on the Falcons' offensive end of the field.  Katherine Waite scored our goal today.

November 14 -- Congratulations Varsity!  The varsity Falcons shut out Mt. Carmel soundly today with 7 or 8 goals.  New team members Megan Psyllos and Kaitlyn Hemingway just brought onto the varsity squad scored in their first varsity game today.  There were also goals by Missy Briery, Heather Wiley, and Erin Morgan.  There are probably a few other team members that also should be given credit for their goals, but there we kind of lost track in all the excitement.

November 12 -- Congratulations Varsity!  The varsity team beat Vista 1 - 0 today in Falcon Stadium.  Missy scored our goal on a penalty shot.  That brings us to 5 and 3 in league play. 

November 12 -- Congratulations JV!  JV was victorious over Vista, but we don't have details yet.

November 11 -- JV unfortunately lost to LCC in their make-up game today.  This was their first loss since early September.

November 7 -- Congratulations Varsity!  Today's match-up against the La Costa Canyon Mavericks went back and forth, and the game was scoreless at the end of the second half.  There was still no score at the end of two overtime periods, and the game came down to strokes, where we had three goals, to LCC's two.  Our goals in strokes were by Missy Briery, Chelsea Summerhays, and Heather Wiley.  Heather Young made some tremendous saves.  We'll post some video clips real soon.

November 7 -- JV only had the opportunity to play for about 20 minutes today due to the extra long varsity game.  The game was ended early due to darkness, well after sunset as the full moon rose over the La Costa hills.

November 5 -- Congratulations JV!  JV won at Rancho Buena Vista 3-0 with goals coming from Megan Psyllos and two from Sofia Lama.  They continue to play excellent field hockey.  Next up the big game at LCC.

November 5 -- Varsity's game today against Rancho Buena Vista on the Longhorns' home turf was in sharp contrast with the same match-up in mid-October.  Although the Falcons controlled the ball through much of the second half and had a wealth of short corners, we unfortunately came up with a 1 - 2 loss.  AJ scored our goal.

November 3 -- Contratulations JV!  It sure seems like forever since we had a game, but JV had a very close and exciting one against La Costa Canyon on Monday.  Play went back and forth, but Kaitlyn Hemingway came up with our only goal in a 1-0 win.  Our goalies once again did a fantastic job especially Mallory Gauthier who in the first half held off a barrage of shots.  Becca Landman kept the Mavericks scoreless in the second half.  Next up, Rancho Buena Vista on Wed. 

November 3 -- Varsity had a close game and came close to equaling the score in the second half in the middle of a torrential down-pour.  The dynamics of the game were certainly different with all the rain and water-soaked new turf.  Varsity played almost the entire second half in front of the Vista Panthers' goal, but in the end, lost with a final score of 1 - 2.

October 24 -- Contratulations JV!  The JV team played a really exciting game today.  They dominated Vista, but ended regulation with a 1-1 tie with Kadie Harry scoring that goal.  The overtime period was just as exciting as the play went back and forth, but finally Torrey prevailed on a short corner with about a minute to go in the period.  Megan Psyllos scored the winning goal on an assist from Kaitlyn Hemingway.  The entire team played a superb game!

October 24 -- Varsity had a close game and seemed to have twice the number of short corners as the Vista Panthers, but ultimately lost 0 - 1 in overtime.

October 17 -- Contratulations Varsity!  The Falcon Varsity team shut out Rancho Buena Vista 5 - 0 today.  Goals by Amber Britton (two goals), Catherine Waite (two goals), and Danielle Neault. (Video clips of the game)

October 17 -- Contratulations JV!  The JV Falcons had quite an exciting match up against the Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns, but they still came out victorious with a 3-0 win.  Goals were scored by Lauren Campbell, Megan Psyllos and Sofia Lama.  (Video clips of the game)

October 15 -- Contratulations Varsity!  The Falcon Varsity team shut out San Marcos 4 - 0 today.  Goals were scored by Missy Briery, Rachel Lary, Chelsea Summerhays, and Catherine Waite. 

October 15 -- Contratulations JV!  Our JV team seems to keep rolling along with another shut out score of 3-0 against San Marcos.  Today's scoring was done by Kaitlyn Hemingway, Sofia Lama and Chelsea Buser.  We should definitely give a shout out to our two awesome goalies Mallory Gauthier and Rebecca Landman who have yet to be scored-on in season play!!  Great job Falcons. 

October 11 -- Contratulations JV!  The JV team again rolled over their opponents with a 3-0 win in Wednesday's game versus San Dieguito.  Scoring came from Chelsea Buser and Kadie Harry who scored the other two.   JV didn't play Friday because Mt. Carmel doesn't have a JV team. 

October 10 -- Contratulations Varsity!  They completely dominated the game and finished with a 8 - 0 victory over Mount Carmel High School!  Almost everyone had the opportunity to play a different position.  JV didn't play today because Mt. Carmel doesn't have a JV team.

October 3 -- Contratulations Varsity!  They dominated in the entire game and finished with a 1 - 0 victory over Hilltop High School!  Catherine Waite scored our goal. 

October 3 -- Congratulations JV!  The JV team beat Hilltop High 3 - 0 this afternoon.  Goals were scored by Audrey Brand, Allison Burger and Megan Psyllos. 

October 1 -- Contratulations Varsity!  They squeaked by with a 1 - 0 victory in this afternoon's contest with San Pasqual!  Amber Britton scored the goal on a break-away. 

October 1 -- Contratulations JV!  JV was again victorious with a 2 - 0 shutout against San Pasqual this afternoon!  Sophia Lama and Caitlin Hemingway scored our goals.  We had a gradual start, but finished very strong and dominated the 2nd half.

September 25 -- Contratulations JV on their solid 2 - 0 victory over University City on Thursday! 
Megan Psyllos scored both goals! 

September 25 -- Contratulations Varsity!  They edged out University City in a 1 - 0 victory today!  The goal scored in the first half by Chelsea Summerhays was the result of a great team effort.

September 20 -- Varsity won all three games in the first round of the 26th Annual Serra Field Hockey Tournament!  Click Here to see game photos.  The game scores were: 
         10:00 AM - San Dieguito, on the Hockey Field, score: 3 - 0   (total of 7 tournament points)
         12:00 noon - Eastlake, on the Football Field, score: 1 - 0   (total of 5 tournament points)
         6:00 PM - Valley Center, on the Football Field, score: 4 - 0   (total of 8 tournament points)
    We won our pool (pool C) so we will advance to the championship bracket. The winner of each pool gets a place
    in the championship bracket.  Placement in the championship bracket is based on total number of points.
    We will be seeded well with our 20 points.  The next games are on Saturday, October 4th. 

September 13 -- Contratulations JV and Freshmen.  JV placed 2nd and the Freshmen team 4th in the Serra Tournament on September 13th.
